đŸ©șThe Price lifeđŸ©ș

The emergency ward smelled of medicine and fear bright white lights flickered above as nurses rushed from one room to another Standing near the doctor's cabin, Y/N Gupta clutched the edge of her worn dupatta, her fingers trembling.

Her grandmother lay unconscious in the ICU the doctor stepped out holding a report "Are you the patient's family?" he asked Y/N nodded quickly. "She is my grandmother
how is she?" The doctor sighed "Her condition is serious. She needs immediate surgery." For a moment, hope appeared in Y/N’s eyes but the doctor’s next words crushed it "The surgery will cost five lakh rupees. If we delay, we may lose her." Five lakh the world spun around her Y/N’s lips trembled. "D-Doctor
 I
I don’t have that much money."

"I'm sorry," the doctor said softly. "Arrange the money as soon as possible." Y/N slowly walked toward the ICU window through the glass she saw her grandmother lying helplessly on the hospital bed, machines beeping beside her Tears rolled down her cheeks "Grandma
 please don’t leave me
"

TIME SKIP TO EVENING

The small house was silent when Y/N stepped inside but the moment her stepmother saw her empty hands, her expression darkened "Where is the money?" she snapped Y/N lowered her eye. "I tried
but I couldn’t arrange it yet." Before she could finish—SLAP! The sound echoed in the room her stepmother had slapped her hard across the face "You useless girl!" she shouted. "Your grandmother is dying and you can’t even arrange money?" Y/N held her burning cheek, tears forming in her eyes "I’m trying
please give me some time." Her stepbrother laughed mockingly "Time?" he sneered. "If you don’t bring money soon
who knows what might happen to that old woman." Fear rushed through Y/N’s body "You wouldn’t—" Her stepmother grabbed her hair harshly "Bring the money," she hissed "Or your grandmother will die faster than you think." Y/N pushed her away and ran out of the house.

NEXT FEW DAYS

Y/N begged everyone she knew she called every friend "Please
I will return the money later
my grandmother needs surgery." But the answers were always the same

"I'm sorry
 I can't help."

"I don't have that much money."

"Five lakh? That's impossible."

DAYS PASSED

To collect even a little money, Y/N worked everywhere she could in the morning she cleaned floors in a small office At noon she worked as a shop seller In the evening she served customers as a waitress in a café And at night she even worked in clubs, carrying trays between loud music and strangers' eyes her body was exhausted but the money she earned was still nowhere near enough.

ONE RAINY NIGHT

After finishing her late shift at the club, Y/N walked slowly along the empty road her feet hurt her eyes were swollen from crying she stopped near a streetlight and sat on a bench that’s when she noticed a small advertisement pasted on a nearby wall her eyes slowly read the words "Looking for a young woman for one private night. Huge payment guaranteed."Y/N froze her heart started beating fast she understood what it meant her fingers trembled as she looked at the phone number written below tears filled her eyes again "Grandma
 what should I do
?"

MINUTE PASSED

The rain began falling harder finally, with shaking hands, Y/N took out her phone she stared at the number for a long time then she slowly typed a message.

> "I saw your advertisement. I need money urgently." She pressed send Y/N didn’t know that the man on the other side of that advertisement was none other than the famous surgeon
Tahir Singhania and this message was about to change both of their lives forever.

MEANWHILE ON OTHER SIDE

The loud party music echoed through the luxurious nightclub.

Colorful lights flashed across the VIP lounge, where rich and powerful people were enjoying the night with drinks, laughter, and expensive perfume filling the air sitting comfortably on the leather couch was Tahir Singhania a glass of whiskey rested in his hand, his sleeves slightly rolled up, showing his strong forearms beside him sat his closest friend, Jay Malhotra, who looked completely relaxed while chatting with a few girls sitting around them the girls laughed, trying to get Tahir’s attention but Tahir looked completely uninterested his sharp eyes were cold and distant, as if none of this mattered to him one girl leaned closer to him "Doctor Singhania, you look so serious tonight," she said with a playful smile Tahir didn’t even look at her he simply took a slow sip of his drink Jay noticed this and chuckled "You see?" Jay said to the girls jokingly "Trying to impress him is useless. This man only loves two things." The girls looked curious "What?" one asked Jay smirked "His hospital
and his silence." The girls laughed but Tahir just gave Jay an annoyed look. Before he could say anything—Bzzz
His phone vibrated on the table Tahir glanced at the screen lazily but the moment he read the message
His eyes narrowed slightly Jay noticed the change in his expression "What happened?" Jay asked, leaning closer Tahir didn’t answer Jay grabbed the phone playfully and looked at the message.

> "I saw your advertisement. I need money urgently." Jay raised his eyebrows "Ohhh
" he whistled softly "So someone finally replied." Tahir took the phone back from him calmly Jay leaned back on the couch, smirking "I told you someone desperate would respond." Tahir stared at the screen silently for a moment Unlike the other replies he usually received, something about this message felt
different It was simple no flirting , no greed Just desperation Jay nudged him "So
what are you going to do, Doctor?" Tahir placed his glass on the table and typed a short reply.

> "Come tomorrow night. I'll send the location." He pressed send Jay looked at him with curiosity "You actually replied?" he asked Tahir leaned back on the couch, his expression unreadable "Let's see who she is," he said calmly Neither of them knew that the girl who sent that message was fighting to save the only family she had left and tomorrow night
Their worlds were going to collide.

Fictional men cannot live in reality dear. They are all written by women who dreamt of a man they wanna fall in love with.
